Dr. Kirsten Brady
Dr. Kirsten Brady is a leading specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of Dry Eye Disease, also known as Ocular Surface Disease. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon completing her education, Dr. Brady embarked on a fulfilling career in full-scope medical optometry. Dr. Brady’s outstanding care and unwavering dedication to her patients led to her recognition as “Best of the Lakeshore” early on in her career.
Over time, she observed the rapid advancements in the treatment options and outcomes for Ocular Surface disease. This pivotal moment ignited her passion for treating this widespread, chronic condition. Dr. Brady has pursued additional training for the treatment and management of the ocular surface; including in-office procedures for managing dry eye beyond traditional pharmaceuticals.
She has found her passion in managing dry eye disease and has dedicated her practice solely to the management of this prevalent condition.

Since learning about The Dry Eye clinic and making an appointment, I have seen incredible improvement in my watery eyes. Could barely keep makeup on most of the time. Dr. Brady is very kind and gentle and was easy to talk to about my eye issues while offering treatment recommendations That were very effective. Highly recommend.

So glad I was referred to Dr. Brady! My eyes were constantly red, light sensitive and felt terrible at the end of the day. I didn’t even think I had dry eyes, but Dr. Brady educated me on the symptoms and gave me suggestions my regular eye doctor didn’t! I had been using Latisse and found out that was bad for dry eyes! Through the treatments at dry eye spa and home care, my eyes feel so much better!

I highly recommend Dr. Brady at the Dry Eye Spa if you are experiencing problems with dry eye. She is super knowledgeable and detailed and spends lots of time diagnosing, treating, and educating you on the most up to date care to restore your eyes.

I had difficulty with a gritty sensation in my eyes along with light sensitivity, blurry vision and scratchy eyes for quite a while. I’m so glad I found the Dry Eye Spa. The eye evaluation was very detailed and treatment recommendations were explained well.
After the second of three in office treatments, I began to notice a difference in how much better my eyes felt. Those treatments, in addition to following the home treatment plan, have all contributed to a significant improvement in my eye health.

I can wear contacts again! I used to be a full-time contact lens wearing. I transitioned out of wearing contacts a few year back because it was no longer comfortable on a daily basis. It got to the point where even wearing them for a few hours to go swimming or attend a wedding was becoming too much so I made an appointment to see Dr. Schrotenboer. I have worked in eye care, so I am familiar with dry eye symptoms and knew, even before the evaluation, that I was suffering from dry eye, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well the treatments worked. We were able to complete the recommended treatments and the improvements are impressive. I can wear contacts all day, most times without any discomfort at all. This is huge for me and I couldn't be happier!
